- How long have you been in business?
-
- Moore’s Automotive has been operating continually since 1981.
Moore’s Automotive carries a AAA rating from the Better Business
Bureau, the highest rating available in our industry.
- Do your technicians service all makes and models? Are
they certified?
-
- Our technicians are ASE certified and service all makes and
models. Our ASE MasterTechs are experts in solving even the most
challenging automotive issues.
- What type of warranty do you offer on your
service?
-
- We stand behind our work. For most repairs (non wear items) we
offer a one year labor and part warranty. If a customer chooses to
have a used part installed we offer a 3 month warranty. In essence,
if a part fails before it should, or if labor was faulty, we stand
behind our work and try to help our customers in any way we
can.
- How are your vehicles different from a “Certified”
Pre-Owned vehicle?
-
- A Toyota “Certified” used car’s warranty is simply inferior to
the warranty we offer on our pre-owned vehicles. In essence, a
“Certified” vehicle only carries a 3 month, 3,000 mile
comprehensive warranty (otherwise known as bumper to bumper).
Toyota “Certified” vehicles do carry a 7 year limited powertrain
warranty but it is from the date of when the vehicle was sold as
new. Our warranty offers you bumper to bumper coverage (on all
purchases above $10,000) for an entire year with unlimited miles
during that year. For purchases under $10,000 we offer a powertrain
warranty. We also offer extended warranty options that can extend
coverage for 7 years from your time of purchase, not from when the
vehicle was sold new.
- Do I have to bring my vehicle for collision repair to
where the insurance company tells me to go?
-
- Insurance companies routinely try and “steer” customers to
bring their vehicles to certain shops for collision repair. These
shops have set up relationships with the insurance companies and do
not necessarily work for your best interest. There is a reason why
the insurance company wants you to bring a wreck to their choice of
shop. The good news is that you have the right to bring your
vehicle to the shop of your choice. It is illegal for insurance
companies to try and force you to bring your vehicle to a certain
shop after a wreck. All you have to do is tell an insurance company
that you want your vehicle brought to Moore’s Automotive. Our state
of the art collision repair center will restore your vehicle and
will work on your behalf to make sure quality parts are installed
and that the vehicle is properly repaired.
- Do you use factory or aftermarket parts?
-
- We use whichever part makes the most sense to the customer. In
some cases, OEM parts are the only parts available for the repair.
If an aftermarket part of good quality is available and can save
the customer money, we look into that option. When necessary we
will even check all used parts available if the option makes sense
for the customer. In general, we simply try and offer the customer
as many choices as possible.
- Do you offer loaner vehicles?
-
- We do offer loaner vehicles free of charge. While we do not
give them out for simple services such as oil changes, any involved
work can be scheduled with a loaner. Since the number of loaner
vehicles we have is limited, the loaners have a tendency to get
booked quickly. If you need a loaner, we suggest calling a few days
before your desired appointment and request one. They are free of
charge, we simply ask customers to put in the gas that they use.
Also, proof of insurance and a valid drivers license is
required.
- Do you provide shuttle service?
-
- Moore’s is happy to provide local shuttle service. We will give
customers a ride to anywhere they need to be within 15 miles of our
business while work is being performed on their vehicle. We will
also pick customers up if necessary. Please mention to the service
manager that you will need a ride somewhere when you schedule your
service.
